01. When should we book?

The sooner the better. My summer dates book up very quickly with weddings and other sessions and I find that most seniors are looking for that 'glowy' summer look for their photos especially if you're thinking of the beach.

02. Can you edit out acne & blemishes?

Yes, small blemishes or a few acne spots are no problem! For extensive editing there will be a fee per image.

03. What happens if the weather is bad or it's raining?

We can totally reschedule in case of rain or high winds. Keep in mind that even if it's cloudy or overcast, that actually makes for the best lighting! We'll be in touch a few days prior to your session and you can bet I'll be watching the weather like a hawk!

04. Can a parent or a friend come with me?

Absolutely! As long as you are comfortable with them being present during your session. I do suggest to limit the number of 'guests' just so we can stay focused and not make things feels awkward for you. I trust your judgement, so bring whoever will be your biggest hype person or people!

05. Where should we go?

Anywhere you'd like! Pick a location that is meaningful to you or where you'll feel most comfortable. A location with multiple photo spots is ideal especially if you're only doing one location. A few suggestions would be:

Park Point Beach

Canal Park or the boardwalk

Wisconsin Point

Rose Garden

The rocks along Lake Superior (I know a few 'secret' spots!)

Duluth Courthouse grounds

Downtown Duluth or a parking ramp

Your high school football field (please make sure it's ok for us to be there!)

06. How does booking & payment work?

Once we have a date picked I will email you an agreement (be sure to check your spam folder if you're not seeing it). The agreement will have your full contract and payment system. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total is required to officially book your date. The remaining will be automatically be charged one week prior to your session.

07. Are all my photos edited?

Yes! Every single photo will be edited. I try to give you a gallery with both color as well as black + whites. If there are certain photos you would like changed after you receive your gallery, please let me know. Just a friendly reminder that it is against my contract to edit any photos post delivery (yes, even changing it from color to b+w) NO filters or alterations can be be applied to your photos.

08. How long for a full gallery?

6 - 8 weeks for your full gallery (sometimes sooner!) I will send out a sneak peek within one week of your session. Remember to plan accordingly so you'll have your full gallery back in time for yearbook submissions. I cannot rush galleries.
