As always, Colorado was a blast. Utah was beyond amazing! And all my couples were the absolute best! I'm exhausted but refreshed at the same time (if that makes any sense at all 🙃) Back to busy season! Second shooting on Saturday then an event on Sunday + a family session!

How to not have a lame engagement session 101

• Revisit where you first met
• Hit up your fav coffee or ice cream shop
• Include your pup(s)
• Shoot at home
• Get weird
• Bring champagne to pop (& drink)
• Take a trip (I'm ALWAYS down to travel!)
• Bring along a few props
• Head to Target (be honest, it holds a special place in your heart)
• Go full-on tourist
• Always, always just do you! No two engagement sessions are alike. Just like no two couples are alike!

A quick trip to Colorado was just what I needed! 🏔️ And although I was only there a few days, I squeezed in a concert, spent time with my little bro, met his adorable girlfriend, went mini golfing and ate some amazing food. Oh! And we also made time for a fun photo shoot in downtown Denver! I can't wait to go back in June ✈️

When Katy originally scheduled her session, we were both hoping for some nice Spring weather. Instead we got a snow storm with crazy winds! We rescheduled and hoped for better conditions and thankfully we ended up getting such a beautiful evening 🌤

All the walking we did around Jay Cooke must have helped get labor going because I got a message just 4 days later letting me know that they were at the hospital! 🤍 Little miss Rosella arrived at 10:12 pm that night and I cannot wait to meet her tomorrow for her newborn session!

I would like to introduce you to my new look & new name (I hope y'all enjoyed my crazy 9 day countdown posts) I've been wanting to do a big rebrand for what seems like forever and I'm so excited it's finally here!

For everyone wondering the meaning behind the new name, Der Norden means "The North" in German. The North. It's where I'm from and where my roots will always be, even if my dreams and wings take me somewhere else someday.

I hope you all love the new look & name as much as I do and I cannot wait to serve my clients even better this year. I seriously love you all. Thank you for allowing me to adventure with y'all and capture your amazing lives 🤍
